Nerys Apple's sincere, passionate, and theatrical approach to composition and performance brings a fresh perspective to the experimental dark pop scene. Nerys draws from experience in musical theater, classical music, jazz, folk, and rock to cultivate an expressive tonal, timbral, and compositional canvas. Her lyrics tend toward the introspective, taking dreams, real and fictionalized events, her own life experiences, and much more as inspiration, with a genuine and profound approach to performance which bridges the gap between listener and artist.

Nerys began performing in musical theater productions when she was just four years old. Later, she began writing her own original compositions, studying classical voice, performing with choirs, and performing as a solo artist. She has studied vocal performance, music composition, and music production at the collegiate level. Nerys released her debut EP with Boneyard Records, "Habitual," in October of 2022, and her single “DIFRENS” in January of 2024.
